Ad Pod

A group of consecutive ad slots within a single commercial break in TV or CTV content.

An ad pod is a commercial break containing one or more ad slots (typically 15–60 seconds each). CTV ad servers manage pod structure — slot count, duration limits, competitive separation between brands, and position metadata (pre-roll, mid-roll slot 1 of 3). Pod-aware bid requests attract higher CPMs because buyers know their ad's position.
