CTV (Connected TV)

Any television that streams internet video content, whether built-in or via an attached streaming device.

Connected TV refers to any television capable of streaming internet video — smart TVs with built-in operating systems (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Roku TV, Vizio SmartCast) and traditional TVs connected via a streaming device (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Android TV). CTV is a device category, not a content or business model — the same physical screen can show AVOD, FAST, SVOD, and linear content, and CTV advertising refers specifically to ads served into that streaming context.
