OTT (Over-The-Top)
Content delivered directly over the internet, bypassing traditional cable, satellite, or broadcast distribution.
Over-the-top describes any video service delivered directly to viewers over the internet rather than through a cable or satellite operator's own distribution — Netflix, Hulu, and a publisher's own streaming app are all OTT. OTT and CTV are often used interchangeably but describe different things: OTT is the distribution model, CTV is the device it's watched on. The same OTT app can be watched on a CTV device, a phone, or a laptop.
