Floor CPM

The minimum price a publisher will accept for an impression in an auction.

A floor CPM is the lowest bid a publisher will accept to fill an ad slot; bids below the floor lose the auction even if no higher bid exists, and the slot goes unfilled. Publishers set floors per channel, break type, or audience segment — raising floors on premium inventory (prime-time pods, live sports) and lowering them on remnant inventory to improve fill rate. Floors are the primary lever publishers have to protect yield without direct sales relationships.
